Product Review - NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo

Sorry for neglecting the blog so much, I am very busy with school and TAing this semester :( Here is a review of NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, one of the best lip product I have used recently.

This Lip Cream is a liquid-cream lip color that applies with a sponge-tip wand (like a lipgloss) and dries to a velvety soft matte finish. Its staying power is great, and doesn't budge much unless you actively rub it off. I also like how intense the color is; Monte Carlo is a bright blue-based red, and looks awesome with vintage looks.

Here is the color swatched on my hand:

And here it is tested on my own lips:

A note on applying this product: You will need to make sure your lips are well-moisturized and flake-free, because it will catch on any flakes or cracks on your lips.

Overall I think this is an excellent product, and it also comes in many colors (I also have London, a nude shade slightly darker and more beige than my own lips). You can find it in drug stores that sell NYX products, as well as online at NYXcosmetics.com

I love this color! I have London as well.
I hate how it does get in the fine lines of your lips though..
My favorite shade is Tokyo :3

It looks red but it appears slightly pink on the lips! I have a NYX lipstick ROSE and also appears the pinkish, do you know any way I can make it redder?
